Dr. Cord Landsmann Joins Green Investors as Partner

Hamburg – Green Investors AG, a Hamburg-Family Office backed clean energy investment and development firm, announces the appointment of Dr. Cord Landsmann as Partner. With a career spanning some of the most consequential chapters of Europe’s energy transformation, Cord Landsmann brings to Green Investors an exceptional depth of executive experience, an expansive international network, and a proven track record in building businesses from inception to global scale.
After decades of leading major corporations and multi-billion-euro business units at the C-suite level, Dr. Landsmann has chosen to redirect his expertise toward selected board memberships, advisory and partnership engagements – bringing the power of his network, strategic judgement, and operational experience to a curated set of companies at the forefront of the energy transition.

A Career at the Helm of the Energy Transition
Dr. Landsmann holds a PhD in Finance and has held CEO, CFO, and COO positions across some of the energy sector’s most prominent organisations. He was a founding member of E.ON’s renewables business, which grew from a start-up initiative into one of the world’s leading renewable energy companies. In this capacity, he also served as CFO of E.ON Climate & Renewables, where he pioneered the “build and sell-down” model that became an industry standard for renewable energy project finance.
Subsequently, Dr. Landsmann served as COO Engineering at Uniper Technologies, where he led the commercial repositioning of the group’s engineering hub. As CEO of thyssenkrupp Uhde, the chemical engineering and plant construction arm of thyssenkrupp AG, he successfully positioned the company as a central enabler of the green transformation – with landmark projects in green hydrogen, ammonia, and e-fuels across Europe, the Middle East, and beyond.
Most recently, Dr. Landsmann served as CEO of the Energy Solutions Company, a portfolio company of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), mandated to champion green hydrogen in the Kingdom.
He also holds a supervisory board position at thyssenkrupp nucera, a global leader in water electrolysis technology for green hydrogen production.
A Strategic Addition to Green Investors
In his role as Partner, Dr. Landsmann will support Green Investors with his strategic counsel, industry network, and deep expertise in project development, project finance, and complex international negotiations. His involvement directly strengthens Green Investor’s capabilities across its core pillars: Clean Molecules (green hydrogen, ammonia, e-SAF), Clean Electrons (solar, wind, storage), and CO2 Management.
